A little overwhelmed...

Yup, that's me...overwhelmed. Jackson just started his third round of ear infections in the last 2 months. The doctor said if he gets them again in the next couple of months then she'll send us to an ear, nose, & throat specialist. In the mean time I have to deal with his fevers, no eating, and his sick little self...not fun.
Sydney and Jackson are almost over their colds/coughs that they've had for almost 3 weeks.
McKay had the stomach flu/fever/aches/chills all through the night Monday and all day Tuesday.
I had the stomach flu/fever/aches/chills all day yesterday.
No matter how much I feed Carter he doesn't seem to be satisfied.
Ya, overwhelmed. Luckily with the help of my sisters Sherri and Kelly (who were both at our house when we got home) I was able to get all the way unpacked from our 3 week trip to Vegas before we all started getting sick...again. So, although the house is a disaster and I've got several days worth of chores piled up, it could be worse.
Today has been better. Although Jackson is still sick I packed the kids up and we went to the library. We've all been stuck in the house since we got home on Friday, and we were in the car for 3 days straight before that. We spent 2 hours at the library where the kids played nicely. Carter slept in my arms the whole time. I RELAXED.
I have LOADS of pictures to go through of our trip to Vegas/Tucson. Once I find the time to go through them I'll be doing a post. Notice how my blog background is still Thanksgiving?? That's what having a baby does to you (or at least me)!
So be watching in the next several days for a post. Carter's getting BIG! You won't even recognize him from the last post!

Dog-gonnit! So sad that you ALL have been sick...bummer! Wish I was there to help out a bit. Glad you have a Dr. that will help Jackson and give a referral, make sure you keep on top of that. Are you feeling better today? Give Jackson acidophilus in liquid form from the vitamin section, or yogurt with live cultures in it. This will keep the good bacteria in his body. Antibiotics tend to destroy the good bacteria. Love you all, Mom

Hey-You should take Jackson in to see a Chiropractor. They have AWESOME results with ear infections - my girlfriend's daughter used to get them all the time but as soon as she started seeing a DC - no more ear problems!! It's a lot less invasive than an ear, nose and throat specialist. :)
