The doctors performed a textbook C-section, Mom is recovering as expected, Carter is alive and well, and the other kids are excited.

Thats awesome. Glad to hear mom and baby are doing well. Thats a pretty special memento of Grundy to bring home with you! All I brought home was a large piece of coal that I tripped over while hiking. You guys ROCK!
