2 Whole Weeks!!

It's hard to believe that today is Carter's 2 week birthday! My mom was here for his first week of life followed by a week with Mckay's parents. Last night as McKay and I went to bed we said goodbye to our 2 week vacation. Today is the start of finals for McKay, and life with 3 kids...on my own...for me. Wish us luck!
Somehow I didn't get ONE picture of my mom while she was here...and I only have pictures of McKay's parents because they took them. Here are a few pictures of the last two weeks.
P.S. These are not in order...it's taken forever for them to upload, and I'm not in the mood to sit and try to move them all around...sorry...

This was hanging in the doorway when we got home from the hospital.

Sydney drew this picture of me and carter. Too cute!

Oh ya, I had a birthday! The big 25!!

Sydney and Jackson helped Grandma Gifford wrap and decorate my gifts.

Yup...25 candles!!

Carter fills out his newborn outfits perfectly. I have a feeling this outfit won't fit him next time I try to put it on him... :-(

Carter in the hospital right before we left for home.

McKay all ready for the c-section.

Grandma and Grandpa Whitney with Carter.

So there's the jumble of pictures! We can't wait to see all of our Vegas and Tucson family and friends in just a couple weeks!

Today's the day!

The day I've been waiting for for 9 months. Today's the day our baby boy will be here. I can't believe it's actually here. I can't wait to see him...and hold him...and love him.

Halloween 2009!

Like our past two Halloweens in Virginia, this one was filled with activities for the kids. We started the week off with the library party, then had the preschool party, and spent Halloween night at the branch trunk-or-treat activity. The kids got so much candy from the first two parties that I (secretly) used it to hand out at the trunk-or-treat. Isn't that horrible? Haha. Don't worry, they both got TONS of candy at the trunk-or-treat and didn't even notice that they only ended up with 5 pounds of candy instead of 10....which is better for ALL of us!
Here are the pictures I got throughout the week.

This is one of the Halloween songs they learned at the preschool. Sydney and Jackson sang it for weeks at home and it was fun to finally hear the whole class sing. Accents and all. ;-)

And lastly, here's a picture McKay snapped yesterday before church of our handsome little Jackson.
